Nurses Reunion
Despite living many years in their adopted country, the alumnae of NIOC-SON remembered their days of training fondly and sometimes wondered about the fates of many of their classmates.
In 1999, two old friends and fellow NIOC-SON alumnae, Zinat MirShojaei and Simin Hayati, were able to re-connect in San Diego, California. It was a joyful reunion and they shared precious memories of their days as students and professional nurses in Iran. As they talked, they wistfully wondered if there could be a possibility of ever meeting old friends and alumnae again.
